Community Connection Event: Learn To Cook Potatoes

The first cop of potatoes are ready to harvest in the community garden, thanks to the hard work of the SSS program volunteers. To utilize the harvest, we want to know, How Do You Want To Learn To Cook Potatoes? Please select all the ways you want to learn in this survey: https://forms.gle/nsDzRwz4zEJzHK747

Event attendees will leave with garden fresh potatoes and get to sample recipes.

Community Connection Event: Summer Plant Care

Want to learn about caring for plants in the summer heat? Attend the upcoming summer plant care workshop lead by the MU Horticulture Team. Attendees will learn about caring for annuals, vegetables, and trees and have an opportunity to ask their gardening questions. Program is for all ages.

Library’s New Program Focuses on Improving Community Access to Health Information

The Ray County Library has blood pressure devices available to use and check out!  Our goal is to improve the health of our community and encourage patrons to be informed about their blood pressure readings and risk factors.  These devices are provided as a service to our community and should not replace medical visits.  Please direct all medical questions to your healthcare provider. If you do not have a doctor, contact our project partner, Ray County Hospital and Healthcare.
