Inform. Inspire. Enrich.
Join as at the Ray County Library on Tuesday, November 15th at 3:30 pm for our children’s Thanksgiving program: Living Off the Land. Recommended for children aged 5+.
One of the hardest things for the Pilgrims while settling in the new world was learning how to live off the land. Presenter Sarah Poff will be teaching about Pilgrims and how the American Indians helped them learn survival skills for living in this new land. While learning about the first Thanksgiving and the friendship between the Pilgrims and the Native Americans, attendees will learn how to make a Faux Vessel that looks like Native American pottery.
